Fast Adjustment for Imperfect Press Brake Bending Angles
DESCRIPTION:
Practical tips to fix press brake bending angle errors quickly. Solve large/small bending angles and material springback problems. Universal for all CNC press brake machines, reduce scrap rate and improve working efficiency.
VIDEO SCRIPT:
In sheet metal bending, the biggest headache is inaccurate angles:
over-bending, under-bending, and excessive springback that turns repeated test bends into scrap!
Here’s a fast adjustment method commonly used in factories to solve it quickly without blind trial and error.
If the angle is too small, it’s usually caused by excessive pressure,
a lower die opening that’s too small, or an overly deep stroke.
Solution:
reduce pressure, slightly raise the stroke, or switch to a larger V-die opening.
If the angle is too large, it’s usually due to insufficient pressure,
shallow stroke depth, or excessive material springback.
Solution:
increase pressure, deepen the stroke, or pre-bend thick and hard materials.
Remember this formula:
If the angle is too small, reduce pressure and raise the stroke;
if the angle is too large, increase pressure and deepen the stroke.
Even beginners can master it quickly and greatly reduce scrap rates!
Choose the right press brake and make production worry-free!
